The kids in 1973 just couldn’t play nice.

 

Controversy struck the intramural program after several name-calling incidents and a brawl. The fight between the Pikes and the Wrecking Crew occurred late in their game.

 

It began when a player was ejected from the game only to return with an axe handle. Criminal charges were filed.
