Pickled Brain

You’ve undoubtedly heard of pickled herring.
Perhaps even pickled eggs.
But pickled brain?
OU Professor Hugh Robert Orr certainly has. In
fact, he’s kept a pickled human brain in Classroom No. 2 for more than eight
years. However, the good professor was contemplating ways to rid himself of
what the Gateway called “the pickled monstrosity.”
It seems, reported the student newspaper, that
“some of the more esthetic damsels in the class have taken to fainting during
tests and blaming it on the embalmed gray matter.”
