Alumni
Outstanding Teaching Awards — Established in 1997 to honor
distinguished teaching in the classroom. They are presented during Honors
Week to nine faculty members, chosen by their peers in each college. They
include a $1,000 stipend.
Athletic Hall
of Fame — Coordinated by the Association, the UNO Hall of Fame nominating
and selection committees promote recognition of the outstanding achievement
of athletes, coaches or administrators. It began in 1975.
Citation
for Alumni Achievement — Presented at each
commencement, the Citation is the Alumni Association's highest honor. It
encompasses professional or career achievement, community service,
involvement in business and professional associations, and fidelity to UNO.
Since its establishment in 1949, the Citation has been presented to 141
former graduates.

Outstanding
Service Awards — Honors faculty, staff, alumni or friends who've shown
long, outstanding service to the Association and/or University. It was
established in 1974.
ROTC
Outstanding Cadet — Honors the outstanding graduating cadet's student
achievements and leadership qualities.
UNO Employee
of the Year — The Association provides a $500 stipend to each recipient.
UNO Professorships — The UNO Alumni
Association has provided 12 professorships totaling more than $765,000 since
1985.
