The
UNO Alumni Outstanding Teaching Awards were established in 1997 to honor
distinguished teaching in the classroom. They are presented during Honors Week
to nine faculty members, chosen by their peers in each college. They include a
$1,000 stipend.
Since
the program's founding in 1997 the UNO Alumni Association has issued $113,000
in Alumni Outstanding Teaching Awards. See a story on our 2009
