The UNO Alumni Card . . . Your Library Pass

It's hard to believe, but the UNO Alumni Card can actually make you smarter.

 

How so, you ask? With the powerful Alumni Card in hand, you are accorded access to UNO's newly remodeled and expanded Dr. C.C. and Mabel L. Criss Library. UNO Annual Fund donors consistently cite the privilege as their favorite UNO Alumni Card benefit, nearly 400 of them having registered at the library.

 

With a current Alumni Card and picture identification, alumni can access the library's many services and resources. Cardholders can check out up to 25 books at the library and use its interlibrary loan service for those books it may not have—even out-of-state alumni!

 

It's a good bet, however, that the library has what you're looking for. Its collection includes more than 780,000 volumes and nearly 2 million microform items. There also is an extensive collection of music CDs, videos, maps, etc.

 

The library also offers many electronic sources, including Genisys, its own catalog, and the catalogs of other Nebraska libraries. Links are offered to approximately 500 carefully selected sources, available on computers in the library and through the new and improved library web site.
